RRA finishes 5th as Ahly win Africa Club Championships

RRA, under Kenyan coach Dorcus Ndasaba, beat Shams 3-0 (25-21, 25-19 and 25-14). Right attacker Seraphine ‘Baby’ Mukantambara led the Rwandans with impressive 19 points, while Manuela Ruth scored 13 for the Cameroonians. Ahly marked their name in history books with their ninth title of the women’s club championship following their exuberant 3-0 (25-9, 29-27, 25-8) hammering over Carthage on Thursday at Ahly Hall. Revenue highlighted their ability in the match by an early dominance and Bafia lost their way early. Bafia settled at the sixth position. Highlights of the match include incredible spikes from Mukantambara, sending a strong message that they were, from then on, truly unstoppable and won the match 3-0.
